A native and lifelong resident of the area, Patsy retired from K-mart where she held many positions before retiring in September 2008 with 33 years of service.

Patsy is preceded in death by her mother, Viola Gross Mullins. Survivors include her son, Chad and wife Tammy Cooper of Maryville, Tennessee; daughter, Carla and husband Mickey Jones of Piney Flats, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ashley Phillips, Daniel Cooper, and Brenton Jones; three great-grandchildren, Carter Cooper, Avery Cooper, and Liam Phillips; three nephews, Jamie Lewis, Jason Lewis, and Aaron Hall;and two sisters, Wendy and husband Andy Hall of Bristol, Virginia, and Gladys Lewis of Bristol, Virginia. Also surviving is her companion, James L. McFaddin, of Bristol, Tennessee, along with his children, Cherie Roberts of Rustberg, Virginia, and Kerry Baum of Bristol, Tennessee and their children, Cara Roberts, Hannah Roberts, Jonah Baum, Joseph Baum, and Jeremiah Baum.

A private gathering will take place at a later date.
